City of Grace consists of a wide range of extraordinary people from all ages, ethnicities, religious backgrounds and life experiences. Whoever you are, and wherever your journey has taken you, you can be sure of one thing—you will be loved and valued at City of Grace.
When to arrive?
If it's your first time then it's best to arrive around 15-20 minutes early to one of our six weekend worship experiences so you will have time to check your children into our safe, loving, children’s ministry. And then you can spend a few minutes browsing through our bookstore or enjoying a cup of coffee in our coffee shop on our Mesa campus and our guest connections area on our Scottsdale campus. When the parking lot is full on our Scottsdale campus we offer offsite parking at two sites (1 block north and 3 blocks South) and a fun ride on our church trolley. Just read the signs when you arrive on campus to know which lot is in operation. And for all of your needs don’t hesitate to ask for directions. We love to serve you!)
What to expect?
For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of an uncertain experience. To help alleviate any anxiety here's a quick summary of what you can expect at City of Grace. Every worship experience has a different “flavor” and consists of a variety of large and midsize crowds, live and video teaching delivery, and different styles of worship, so you might want to visit a couple to find the one that fits you best. The one thing that is consistent is you will find upbeat worship music and an encouraging message taken straight from the pages of the Bible. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Our church dresses in many different ways, from business casual to shorts and sandals, and we encourage everyone to dress as they feel comfortable. When our worship service starts you will be invited to join in for a time of singing worship songs. We always have the words projected on our large screens in case the song is new to you. Following a time of greeting, offering (which is for our church family) and a few announcements, our pastor will share a message from the pages of Scripture. His high energy style coupled with personal illustrations and his frequent use of humor makes the half hour fly by. We then conclude with a time of prayer and an invitation for people to receive Jesus.
