Latin America
City of Grace has been working in Latin America for many years. Our ministry partnerships have included the Alberto Mottesi Evangelistic Association and Hispanic Ministries International.
We are also involved on a more grassroots level in 5 nations.
Every 6-8 week our Lightning Trips go to the Brazos de Amor orphanage in Agua Prieta, Mexico to minister to children who have been abandoned, abused or orphaned.
In addition, our Homes of Hope teams build houses for poor families in Ensenda, Mexico once or twice a year.
In Nicaragua
we have been partnering with Partners in Christ in the eastern coastal
city of Puerto Cabezas. In addition to sending teams and sponsoring
children, new opportunities are developing to impact children and youth
as well as train public school teachers.
City of Grace has partnered with Dr. Hugo Gomez in western Guatemala since 2000. Since then we have sent more than 100 people on Global Adventure teams to work with women and children, in medical clinics, in schools and churches, on construction projects, and a wide variety of other ministries. We are also involved in a partnership of churches and Christian organizations developing a center that will train hundreds of Latin Americans in Community Health Evangelism (CHE), one of the most effective church-planting and community transformation strategies in the world.
In Argentina our Scottsdale campus is partnering with the Punchinello School of the Arts is impacting the lives of children and youth in the Buenos Aires area.
In Ecuador, City of Grace missionaries Greg and Amy Brill are working in the capital city of Quito running soup kitchens, hosting short-term mission teams, and caring for the local children who live in poverty.
