Creative Expressions: About
For the artist, one's craft is a language of expression and worship. Through art, be it song, dance, drama, or design, we can invite others to deep places of experience with God. Author Mike Duran said, “We write, paint, carve and mold; we sit hunched over parchments and tape recorders, laptops and canvas, searching for the right word, the right sound, the right image, yearning to rise above our earthly origins.” We long to create as we bear the image of our Creator.
Get Involved
The Creative Expressions Department desires to be a place where artists can come together to be encouraged, equipped, and empowered to use their skills in ministry. We invite you to be part of this unique community. Areas of involvement include worship band, vocalists, and instrumentalists, actors, dancers, fine artists, and audiovisual artists, including theatrical lighting designers/operators, sound engineering technicians, computer graphic presenters, and, camera operators.
